DESCRIPTION:

Supply Manufacture of all structural steel work for the extension to the existing exhibition centre.

The Main Hall was constructed of 610 ub columns with 54 meter span roof trusses 6.7 meters deep These roof trusses were manufactured and fully welded in our Hemmant facility prior to being transported to the painting contractor then on to site for installation.

Erection of the trusses was a dual lift using 2 x 25 tonne cranes and a mini crane to assemble ties all site works and erection was under Steel Fabrications Australia site management at all times.

The eastern and western sections where completed after the main hall had precast panels erected.

Steel Fabrications Australia have a good working relationship Lang O'Rourke which has enabled the successful completion of this project while maintaining the operational success of the existing facility.
